BASIC / BEGINNER

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN :

At this basic level, you will learn SFX film makeup based on scenes in the film.

THE GOAL OF THIS LEVEL :

The students understand the variety of SFX Film Makeup tools and their uses, being able to apply material and SFX makeup equipment effectively, efficiently and not excessively (impressively natural), able to create basic makeup effects with a variety of film themes (Horror, Crime, Fighting, etc.) according to professional standards, able to communicate effectively and can think creatively. 

Fighting Scene:

a. Bruises and swollen

b. Scars and scratches

c. Bleeding on the corner of the lips or in the nose

d. Broken Nose

e. Cut wounds

f. Removing wounds

Crime Scene:

a. Burns

b. Sliced Finger

c. Bullet Hole Wound

d. Removing wounds

Horror Scene:

a.  Bitten by zombie Wounds

b.  Facial skin peeling

c. Removing wounds

COURSE DURATION

From the day you purchase the course, you will have 2 months access to the online study platform. As the course is self-paced you can decide how fast or slow the training goes, and are able to complete the course in stages, revisiting the training at any time.

METHOD OF ASSESSMENT

Participants will get a video tutorial about the basics of making makeup effects , at the end of each module, you will have the assignment to be submitted (you need a mark of 100 % to pass) and you can submit the assignment at any time. You will receive the results within 72 hours of submittal and will be sent a certificate in 7-14 days if you have successfully passed the course in beginner level.

CERTIFICATION

Upon completion of the beginner level curriculum of the course, you will receive your Special Effects Film Makeup Artist Certificate. This SFMI Accredited Professional Certificate will provide your clients with the assurance of your professional skill set as you enter into the industry as a Special Effects Artist. A digital copy of the certificate will be e-mailed to you with your graduation letter, and a hard copy of the certificate will be individually printed with our seal and mailed to your requested address. 

CAREER PATH
